DEPARTMENT DOSSIER: Physical and Biological Sciences

To understand is to contain. This department is the primary scientific arm for analyzing anomalous creatures and materials. Through sampling, autopsies, and spectrographic analysis, they identify a threat's biological or chemical vulnerabilities, providing the key to its neutralization.

Areas of Excellence
  • Nature: Indispensable for analyzing 🧬 Biological / Entity, 🧱 Physical / Objectual, and 🌍 Environmental / Geaspheric threats.
  • Channel: Determines vulnerabilities to ☣️ Contact / Bio-vectorial and ☢️ Radial / Proximity channels.
  • Environment: Sampling teams can operate in any environment, especially in 🌲 Remote Natural or 💧 Inland Aquatic ones.
Operational Limitations
  • The analysis process requires time and samples, making it slow in an acute crisis.
  • Has no direct defense or containment capabilities.
  • Ineffective against non-physical threats like 👻 Esoteric / Thaumaturgic or 💡 Conceptual / Informational ones.
